What this board is — and what it is not

Every brand you see on the Japan board is here because it paid to be here. The order is the payment order. It is not a safety ranking, not a licence check, and not an editorial recommendation. If you want to know whether a brand is any good, this page cannot tell you — it can only tell you what that brand was willing to spend on being seen.

The 🔍 figure next to each brand

That number is how many times a month people in Japan search that brand's name — measured with Semrush's Japan database on 26 August 2026. It is there so an advertiser can see how much demand already exists behind a name before deciding what a position above it is worth.

It does not affect the ranking. A brand with 1.8 million monthly searches sits below a brand with none if it paid less. Search volume is context; the order is money.

How a brand gets on this board

1. Decide the position you want and read the price next to it.
2. Pay that amount — one time, no subscription.
3. You hold the position until another brand pays more than you.
4. You can top up at any time to climb back. Payments stack.
